Removes surface rust from ferrous metal and stainless steel. Non-corrosive, non-flammable, and non-toxic acid free (ph8). Effectively removes heavy pitted rust when used as a dipping solution
This product is not as quick as acid removal but the long term results are outstanding. Original casting marks and seams are revealed as new when the remover has finished slowly eating away at each layer of rust right down to a molecular lever. Unlike acid our safer rust remover stops when the rust in all loosened and is then easily washed off as a brown sludge.
If you are looking for same day results then this product is not for you, if you have components with mixed metals then the Safer rust remover will clean them all without risk of harm.
You can even place whole assemblies into the safer rust remover it will not damage rubber or gasket material.
Unlike acid based removers Safer rust remover will not cause hydrogen embrittlement of steel or steel alloys. An acid free formulation with a ph of 8 assures this.
